New Tides

About New Tides
Simon Hardman is an ex-drug enforcement agent living a secluded life in the Florida tourist town of Destin. An email from his sister tells him about his high school girlfriend being shot down and is hanging on by a thread. She was in the process of prosecuting a brother of one the drug gangs in the area. It turns out he is associated with the number one drug cartel in the world. It takes all of Simon’s years of training to take down the people responsible for the shooting, along with the help of close friends still with the agency. The twist in all of this is his girlfriend had twin daughters who are now teenagers and they are Simon’s.

Random Quotes:

School has ended for another year and another summer is upon us. Enjoy it with your family and friends. Squeeze it with all the gusto humanly possible and savor the memories.

Our lives are in a ever changing state, just like the tides of the oceans.

Hundred's of multi-colored concrete condos line the beaches as they  jut high up into the clear blue sky in the blazing afternoon sun. To this man's eyes though they look like grotesque graffiti spray painted on a wall. They truly ruin the majestic beauty of a tropical paradise.

The only thing permanent in our lives is change.

Blue piercing eyes of a solitary man watch the cinnamon skinned woman standing seductively by the shoreline. His expression is one of admiration and desire even after twenty years. Granules of sand are stuck to her body like glitter, sparkling in the last rays of sunshine for the day. She turns her head just enough to make eye contact with the solitary man. She smiles with just the corners of her mouth. The invitation is there and the man joins his wife at the shoreline. They hold hands and watch the sun set on another day at the beach.

"If you're lucky enough to be at the beach, you're lucky enough."

When sailing through life, be on the look out for sandbars. They are always shallower than they appear. Don't run aground and let your life sink into the abyss of daily doldrums. Live life to the fullest and share it with others.
